We are sponsoring the 30th edition of the Economists' Day
Once again, the Association of Economists of Catalonia celebrates its most emblematic annual event: the Economists' Day, which this year holds the title “New environment, new competitiveness”. With this edition we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Economists' Day, which will take place on November 6th in Barcelona and in the following days at the different territorial offices of the College.
The Conference will reflect on the need for redefine the competitiveness model of the Catalan economy in the face of recent global changes (pandemic, supply crisis, wars, geopolitical tensions, etc.) that are causing a profound transformation in the Status Quo international. The previous model had been successful, but the new context, marked by volatility, short-termism and uncertainty, requires rethinking Catalonia's future foundations in order to reposition it in the global context, and economists will play a key role in this.
